I'm very upset with Kraftmaid. Was told they were the best cabinets and would last a lifetime.

I would like to find out if all my items ever arrive and are right! Paid for kitchen cabinets 7/29/2010, they arrived 8/25/2010. Problem was they did not send my pantry shelves,not enough scribe molding for cabinets and then sent utility closet instead of china cabinet. It has been a month since Lowes supposedly did a rush order and I still have not received china cabinet or shelves.

Been without use of my kitchen since 8/20/2010! Counter tops can't be done because Kraftmaid can't seem to get their act together and get me the rest of what I paid for. I very disappointed in their customer service and only hope my cabinets don;t fall apart like what I've already read about. Haven't received a warranty either and asked several times.

Not happy at all. This is a kitchen remodeling nightmare!

Having the same problem, but worse. Ordered in August, final cabinet now scheduled for 1/22/18.

This will be the 4th cabinet and have no confidence that this one will not be broken as well.

Lowe's finally let them install part of the cabinets 2 weeks ago because I have been without a sink since August. Missed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and now New Year's because of this.

Your mistake was buying from a home center. KraftMaid products different levels of product. Low-end is sold to the home centers.

I had the same experience with Kraftmaid. Ordered a full set of new kitchen cabinets from Home Depot.

Kraftmaid could never get the built and stained correctly.

It took 9 builds and 26 days sort of 2 YEARS for them to finally get them done just reasonably well. Kraftmaid can't get off the hook in my case, the factory Rep was intimately involved with every communication and transaction for the last 18 months!!!

The ERP systems that most large cabinet manufacturers now have in place would rarely allow for the wrong cabinet to be built (missed parts, possibly). This definitely sounds like an issue with the designer, who is undoubtedly trying cover his/her butt by blaming KM.

I can tell you as a KraftMaid Dealer (and other cabinet lines dealer)that this is not the fault of KraftMaid. The designer/salesperson was obviously inexperienced as your problems were the result of incorrect ordering, i.e.)pantry shelves have to be ordered separately.

Most places use Deign By 20/20 Software. A simple error by the user (aka-Lowes Kitchen-worker...not calling them "designer").

Aside from a myriad of problems with my Kraftmaid product, delivery, etc. My Home Depot worker failed to make all cabinet interiors the same, I got a few White ones. I use the software at home (I'm a kitchen builder) and I new her mistake right away.

If the guy in the original post is thinking he should have gotten pantry shelves but did not order them separately then it clearly looks like whoever was building the kitchen on the computer forgot quite a few details....

I digress, Kraftmaid I a 3rd rate product. Stay far far away from them. They could layoff half their reps if they invested into quality control...

Sounds like your Lowe's "designer" goofed up your order! Double check your cabinetry list.

I have never had a problem . .

. and I do 6 or 8 kitchens a year.
